Valuation methodology.

A trade result should be easy to reproduce. Our calculator compares exact quotes from one published release using a documented rule.

Value systems

One Ride Potion equals 1 RP. Shark values form an independent dataset. Baseless values record the source’s base scale.

This release stores AMVGG’s Baseless, Ride Potion, and Frost values separately, including source display rounding. One regular Fly Ride Frost Dragon equals 1 Frost. Rounding can produce small differences between results in these three units. Shark results use their independent quotes.

Exact variants and arithmetic

Normal, Neon, Mega, Fly, Ride, and Fly Ride combinations have separate quotes. AMVGG imports retain explicit source values or apply the source’s verified category coefficients and variant rules. A Full Grown option appears only where recorded quotes support it.

Quotes contain up to six decimal places. The engine converts them to fixed-point integers and uses BigInt arithmetic for totals and the fairness comparison. Imported quotes retain source rounding; totals and fairness comparisons use those stored decimals exactly.

Win, Fair, or Lose

G = sum(give quantity × exact variant quote)

R = sum(receive quantity × exact variant quote)

difference = R − G

gap = 100 × abs(R − G) / max(G, R)

The 2% fairness band is our editorial convention, stored in this release. It is not a verified rule from another calculator. A trade allows up to 18 individual items per side; quantities count toward that limit.

Missing quotes and demand

An unpriced variant is unknown, never zero. If either offer contains an unpriced variant, the calculator shows “Incomplete valuation” and identifies it. Totals shown in that state are known subtotals only. Both offers need items before a result appears.

Demand ratings provide source or reviewed context for each variant when available. They do not silently change the arithmetic. Actual desirability, availability, personal preference, and negotiation can affect a trade beyond these estimates.

Published releases and source review

Editors maintain draft metadata and quotes. Publishers can publish reviewed drafts or run the manual AMVGG updater, which records source values and demand before publishing a complete release. Every calculation stays on one release until you explicitly update it. Saved trades retain their original release; sharing includes its identifier.

The packaged staging catalog contains captured factual reference quotes with source records. Initial owner market review, remaining RP coverage, and unknown metadata are tracked in the data coverage report. An import review status documents source checks; it does not establish an official market price or endorsement. Catalog artwork is stored locally and matched to item identities. Image sources and file checksums are recorded in the asset manifest.

Recorded history includes only actual published releases. Seven-day and thirty-day claims require enough dated observations; no historical values or activity are invented. View published releases.
